Santa Catalina Island

Santa Catalina Island is the only one of the eight Channel Islands with a permanent civilian population. It is a part of Los Angeles county and its two cities are Avalon and Two Harbors. It lies about 25 to 30 miles west of Newport Beach and Dana Point.
1. Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau - Visitor and business information including transportation, lodging, filming, tours, dining, meeting and wedding venues, and a directory of member businesses.
2. Catalina Island Conservancy - Dedicated to conserving the land and waters. Includes information about ecology and visitor programs.
