Bishop, located at the north end of the Owens Valley, is a center of commerce and culture for a vast region extending into eastern Nevada. It is home of the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair, and Mule Days, the world's largest non-motorized parade. It is well-known as a gateway community for visitors from Southern California to the attractions of Bishop Creek, Mammoth, Mono Lake and Yosemite.
